Rarely comes a project that can be so moving and continually inspirational. In this case, Slumberland was The Project of the year for sure. Once again, I had the absolute joy to work alongside some incredibly talented individuals for an amazing Creative Director, Karin Fong, at Imaginary Forces. From the initial concept phases to final delivery, it was purely magical. Many items were hand drawn and then traced in Illustrator or directly in Cinema 4D. We explored myriad textures from thick fibrous paper to transluscent vellum, and tried to capture the delicateness and whimsy of a tangible dreamworld that we’d be happy to visit again and again. Of course you have to return, because there are so many easter eggs and flourishes to enjoy!
